Please forgive me if I’m not quite myself...
If I’m not my normal, kind, thoughtful, inclusive... self...
Which I always try to be...

The Units told me they “bent over backwards” to be kind and respectful to me..

They didn’t use the exact words “kind and respectful”

But the “bent over backwards” are the exact words...

I do not feel they were at all kind and respectful to me. Quite the opposite.

Please forgive me if I’m not always perfect. But I understand that it’s not always possible. Nor is it always possible for me to be “perfect”

No sarcasm intended to anyone on pc..

Just a somewhat triggering day. Nothing I can’t deal with.

I’ve dealt with much worse.

I will survive and I wish everyone good things.

My mother also used this term "bent over backwards."

I think it means that they were trying very hard to cope. (most likely depressed themselves and unable to cope with the burden of cubs)

Their parenting was abusive and they could not cope with the cubs they failed to teach proper emotional intelligence too. The truth is they were lacking it and so they could not pass it on, like in healthy families.

I am not sure why we had to be blamed so much

Love and respect to you and all
