Has anyone here been photographed or recorded by your partner against your will during sexual acts?

once many years ago I was dating someone who did that. they went to prison because here in my state taking pictures and videos that are sexually explicit or during the act of sex is considered producing pornography/ sexual assault.

my suggestion is check with your areas police department they can tell you if its a crime in your state.

you dont even have to tell them whether or not anything happened.

When it happened to me, I called the police and told them I was doing a term paper for a class and needed some information. After I was told the laws then I made my decision to press charges.

no. But i did have someone asked me to flash myself on the internet. Which I refused to do. I'm sorry that you had to experience that. Did you press charges?

I'm sorry, I completely forgot that I had posted this.

No, it wouldn't have occurred to me to press charges. It happened some years ago in a relationship I was in for a number of years. I hated that he did it and I knew he was showing the photographs and recordings to people. I'm sure he still has them.

I thought that as long as I wasn't really insistent, which would have caused a big argument, there was nothing illegal about what he did. But I absolutely hated it, it disgusted me, and he knew it.

I saw it in a movie a few weeks ago (based on a true story), the woman did eventually press charges and won the case. No way am I looking to do anything legal, but seeing that movie gave me a wake-up call...validation.

I commend you for taking action to protect yourself.
