I was bullied and picked on in the 7th grade. Was also called names, one was little runt because of my size.Age 6,I was diagnosed with pituritary dwarfism and have the body of an 8 year old girl.My good friends even witnessed it happen.I was slammed into my locker a few times.Principal was no help, gave the 3 boys that bullied me light punishments. It was not enough and my parents were not too happy.Last straw was when they slammed me in my locker cutting me in the right arm which I had to go to the ER for stitches. My parents seen a lawyer whom gave this principal a wake up call, said better do something before it went to court. He did and also resigned the end of the school year.We had support from other parents too.The 3 boys that bullied and picked on me,left for another school. It tore me up which I was diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety at age 13.School counselor saw the signs I had these and told my parents about a great therapist that dealt with kids that have PTSD and anxiety issues. This therapist worked with me very well.

I'm so sorry you had to go through such a hurtful experience. Being bullied can truly push a person, whether child or adult, over the edge. Good user name - you betcha!!

I went through that in the sixth grade. What happen in the sixth grade that had followed me to high school. I finally found someone to believe me and tried to get me some help.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. I went through it in 7th-9th grade. It crushes your spirit and obliterates your sense of self worth. Truly traumatic.

I'm sorry for the bullying you experienced. I do believe in karma. I too was bullied mainly by a female classmate who today is on my facebook. For a few years I did not friend her but one day I said what the heck & I sent her a friend request, only bc she was a former classmate at my elementary school. The only thing we have in common is we lost someone close to us to suicide. I lost my older sister *praying hands* , bully lost her son.

I was bullied, both verbally and physically, throughout high school by a gang of boys. It got so bad I went to the principle at one point. He told me I should take a look at myself. At one point, one of the gang members beat me up breaking my nose in the process. However, when he was questioned about it, he said I called him a name. (I should have been so bold.) So I got blamed for it.

Thank you for sharing your story and sorry to hear about your ordeal. I am glad you got the assistance of a good therapist. I was also bullied all my childhood and teenage years. It was mainly by my sister, which gave me such a low confidence for keep getting beaten up by her that I became a target at school. Lots of name callings and teasing by classmates for getting beaten up by my sister as well as physical bullying by classmates. There was no wake up call for anyone at the school administration unfortunately so it continued until the end of Grade 12. I have PTSD and still struggle with many issues and therapy has been valuable.
