For those that are struggling on this day meant to honor mothers ...
For those of us that had that other kind of mother ... This is a safe place to post about the damage it caused and the struggles to overcome it. I'll start off with a poem I wrote about mine ...
Possible trigger:
It's been 30 years since I finally escaped that little house of horrors I grew up in! I am 63 years old and still in therapy trying to recover from it all ... It truly is the grief of a lifetime that takes a lifetime to grieve.
