Whenever I read sexual abuse survivors stories or my therapist suggests I was sexually abused I start to feel trapped and like I want to escape my body. Is that normal or an emotional flashback. Been that way since I was little,

I think you should speak to your therapist about this as your therapist is probably the better person to answer your question. However, it seems that these stories Sam pd conversations have a triggering impact on you. You should explore them with your therapist.

I felt something very similar to the effect that you've felt, but yes you should ask your therapist more about it. I know it can be scary at first but it does help with recovery. I wish nothing but the best for you.
