Back when I was in Middle school, I was in one of those "Disabled classrooms' and I had no say in the matter, They told my Mom that it would help me and help me adjust to the real world better.
I'm going to be blunt, It was ****ing horrible. Liars.
The teacher I had was super ****ing ableist, She constantly mocked this kid named Mike who had this permanent stutter by mimicking his stutter every time he spoke and she would get really prissy if you called her out on it. Midway through the year he just quit speaking altogether.

She would yell at us for the dumbest reasons, she treated us like we were stupid and would Infantilize us constantly (Like she would constantly use baby talk when speaking to us and refused to let you use your own supplies, telling us that "they were too complicated and dangerous for you to use" (She said this about ****ing pencils) and would generally act like a petty mean girl.
She was 47. I can not make this **** up even if I tried.
There's other stuff she did but I'm honestly too angry to keep writing so I'll elaborate on that later.
Bye.

"they were too complicated and dangerous for you to use".

What does she think is going to happen?

Also, poor Mike. Do you know what became of him?. Did he continue attending the class the following year?

This sounds like unresolved trauma for you. It must have been stressful to be in this situation with no way of stopping her behaviour.
