so you show me no love
no kindness i can think of
it's not so easy to make sense
why you choose this life of less
maybe you think you are bad
that you should miss what others have
but i don't feel that way for you

do you believe things are ok?
have you ever felt wrong?
but went along anyway?
did you know those feelings
fester and never go away?
if you want something better
if you want to see change
you have to believe in yourself
continue, no matter the strain
hard times are always worth
sparing us from your pain.
