I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and a rape. It good to say that without people looking at me with that look they get. I believe that my social fears and anxiety and panic attacks are trigged by the memories of the abuse. I dont know how much different my life would have been without the abuse nut Im pretty sure it would be better. I probably would not be agoraphobic. Not afraid of so many things. when I think about the abuse I can still feel the pain. I believe I have more mental issues because of it. thanks for listening.

Welcome Roxy

Yes it is nice to share our experience with others who understand. And yes, probably many of your "issues" are related to the abuse you experienced. Do you or have you been in therapy? If not I would highly recommend it. I found it very helpful in sorting out my feelings and getting through some "issues" quicker than I would have on my own.

than an "I'll say a prayer" or a "god bless you."
Doesn't make me feel better, no meaning to me for sure.
Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
Thanks for this!
