Hi, I am new to AA. How long should it take to complete the 12 steps. Also, after people complete them is being tolerant of others followed by all? I have other mental health issues and do not want to be naive. Know what I mean?

There are some AA sponsors who will start you right on the steps as if there is a limited time frame. Steps 1-3 can be worked on right away. I didnt start my step 4-8 until I was a year sober. I believe if you are going to meetings and have a sponsor you are doing the right thing,
