I’m feeling a little ill-tempered right now. I’m grateful for my job & 99% of my interactions with others are positive, it’s just that 1% that makes me want to drop the mask & tell them how I really feel. Then my niece has a sports event this weekend that I don’t want to go to, & that makes me feel like a crappy aunt, but I’m spent.

Irritated at rudeness of delivery guys trying to get something up the stairs as the elevator has been down for months. He backed into me without looking first and how was I to know what direction he was going to move in. He asked WHY am I standing behind him like I wanted that encounter. A-hole. I had the door propped open with balled up paper for laundry and was about to move it. But a neighbor is getting a delivery and since she’s one of the few people who’s neighborly I’m leaving it plus she asked. Otherwise I wasn’t going to make it easier for those guys.

No not cataract s. Probably a tumor. But because of his age they don’t recommend treatment

Like I still apparently haven’t adjusted to the blasted time change. I overslept this morning. Even though I don’t have to go anywhere I cling to structure like a life preserver which it is. Too much uncertainty and unknowns in the world now so still get up at the same time even though it’s killing me.
