we are looking for a suggestion for a good new baby doll as we want a new one for our birthday.
they don't sell amy doll's anymore so we need something else but something that cries, takes a bottle, goes to sleep, and all those baby things. we want to play with it like a baby doll so it needs to have the interactive features thanks |

You may want to look at reborns.com
I am a reborn doll artist as a hobby. People there sell their dolls. They look like human babies. Theyre such fun to make. My inside kids like to cuddle them and change their clothes. |

thanks for this suggestion. do these dolls have any interactive features?. for example: can they take the bottle or can they make baby related sounds (crying, cooing, what ever) will check out the site and post my findings! |

I have looked into various companies where they have "like" real baby dolls and because of the material used to create and stuff them, they dont really drink or eat real foods. and are extremely expensive (usually the cheapest you can get these kinds of dolls are over 200. US dollars and some run as high as 800-1000. amazon has the interactive Baby Alive for $14.97 you can also check out the baby alive series in walmart and taget stores. many stores here like walmart and target also have in toy departments fake plastic bottles that are made in a way to look like the bottles have milk juice and water in them and when you tip them upside down it looks like they liquid disappears. they run a couple bucks a bottle and some baby alive dolls already come with their pacifier, bottles, bowls, spoons and "food". |

I still don't have one, and it's driving me crazy and making me very sad.
I may just by the accessories. is it weird that I would own a baby bottle without a doll or a baby to feed it to?. I don't know but.. I don't know, but... |

this post reminded me of another post that you wrote not too long ago where you were upset because your drinking bottle broke. in it you called your drinking bottle a baby bottle. then you went in search of a real live baby doll and cant find one. you want one to get closer to your childhood. and you are now considering getting a new baby bottle with out getting a baby doll. if its upsetting you this much because you dont have a drinking bottle that you can call a baby bottle I say who cares if it's weird or not. there are lots of adults that have baby bottles, for their self, for their pets, for their real children, and for roll playing, some college classes require an activity that includes baby bottles. I bet if you did a google search on "adult baby" you would find lots of websites that sell adult sized baby equipment. some sites are a bit x rated because there is an adult baby roll playing in intimacy life too. As for real baby dolls Im taking a guess here based on the progression of your posts that no dolls that mimic real life would work for what you want it for. at some point whether we like it or not we have to admit that the past is over, that our abusive childhoods are in the past and nothing can recreate our good and bad aspects of our abusive childhoods. I once went in search of something from my childhood and when I actually found it I discovered now that I was close to my childhood I wanted nothing to do with it because of the memories of abuse came flooding back. my suggestion dont worry about trying to find a real live baby doll. they dont match up to our mental images anyway of ourselves as babies or the dolls we had as children. you want a baby bottle to replace the one that broke, go get a baby bottle. they make adult size ones too. |

When we were too poor for dolls growing up, we made dolls out of toilet paper, paper towels, and other papers in the home.
When we could afford dolls, we went to the store to find one in the toy department. Nowadays, we go online to buy toys and dolls. The dolls mentioned above sound really nice. We still miss our dolls from when our host was a child. We can't find those same dolls anywhere anymore. We hope everyone is able to find toys and dolls that bring them joy and comfort. |

Lee Middleton dolls are super realistic but unfortunately only run on imagination. I still have a baba chubbs. If you google magic drinking baby bottle there’s good ones, maybe with sound too. Or maybe a baby-alive on eBay. Good luck
