Here it is the middle of the night and we are scared and trembling. Everythng is not okay and there is no one around. The night seems to get longer as the time ticks away yet nothing seems to move. We hope it is okay to come here and sit quietly and be safe for awhile. Everyone inside is screaming out for help but no one hears. No one is around at this hour. Cannot find a safe place to rest. Is there anyone who can here us? Is it safe here? One cries for the wady, one cries out in pain, and others just cry for fear of the night. We will sit quietly and not disturb anyone. Just for the night.

It is the middle of the night, but there are people around. There is a good God who sees us daytime and darktime. He sees us all the time and looks at us with love.
I wish I could make it better for you; I have spent many nights just like what you describe now. It was even worse when I did not know why I was so terrified - the unknown is always tougher to handle. I do care and I know other's do too. When I am up hurting I do what I can to comfort myself and I talk to God about how we feel and how hard it is to get by that day. Somehow I get through and it gets better again. Just as day always follows the night, our moods and feelings change. They do not stay bad/scary/painful/etc. forever. Good times and healing come too and we have had times of joy/relief/confidence/fun/etc. come again. It will not always be this bad. You can heal and you all can recover. On bad days/nights the deal is "just don't quit". The bottom-line is just don't give up and give in. Someday it will be better. I will talk to God and ask Him to help you get through this one night and you will. I have to go to bed soon or I will not be able to function tomorrow. My daughter has had a break-in and I will need to be there for her tomorrow. The people I care for are part of what helps me keep on.
