There used to be two ducks that visited my house every day at 3pm for a while. I would hear them quacking at my door and take them a little bread dipped in water. They would eat it and then hang out for a while before flying away. They seemed to have a daily routine as they would show up like clockwork at 3pm every day! I wonder what it was that let them know it was time to visit Luce's house?
I named them Tom and Sarah. They would visit for a few months, and then stop. But then they came back the next year for a few months, and the year after that as well. And then I never saw them again.
I used to think of them as an old couple. I miss them!
Thanks for this!
