What are you giving your “littles” for Christmas?
I request that this is only for those with DID, DD, or at least “little ego states” identified by a “qualified therapist” irl.. or those dxd with “dissociative tendencies”
( it hasn’t been easy, in my experience in this forest to receive “useful and accurate” dxs (and useful “treatment” or even “support” without a buncha insults and wrong labels and . Other garbage. it is what it is. All the more reason to try to be kind to self and any inside others since its not likely the “professionals” in a certain forest will be of “help” no matter how many different ways we find to say it
(Obviously this forum is not intended for a discussion of the “merits” of a system in any forest irl especially this one. Thank you )

I will try to be more aware of my feeling states. I am very bad at this and so any improvement will be helpful. Staying connected to myself would help my self esteem. Maybe I would hide less

Sending much respect and peaceful thoughts to you

There is this totally crappy bad-for-the-environment toy that a little has been wanting for a long time... we got her that. And we got another young 'un a squishy toy kind of thing. The best thing we are getting them for Christmas is not seeing the perps this year. That feels the best for them.

What about this year?
We haven't thought about it too much yet. This year in therapy we have been working with a couple little ones that we still have quite an ambivalent relationship with. We will get something for them because it is the "right" think to do in terms of showing them acceptance and acknowledgement. I don't know what yet though. We will have to watch for what they might like / definitely won't like.
