things like this make me cry and feel sad. i feel guilty because of the rabbit being so innocent and its being like left out and its lonely. why does this make me sad? its a made up story for children. i cant explain this to anyone else cuz it just seems stupid and ridiculous

anything, it made me cry too.

especial the part about being "real".

but i love it nevertheless, and i hope it boosts up the inside kids' confidence

I love that story. My mom one year for Christmas got me a stocking that had a velvateen rabbit and the book in it. That was back when I was 8 years old I am almost 28 and I still have them. It's just the sweetest story. I think I'm gonna dig it out and read it tonight.
