Hello y'all
I am new here and am looking for support. I have been dx with DID for several years and currently am seeing a new therapist. I have intigrated several alters but more keep coming up. I am looking for a place where I can give and recieve support from other people with DID. I am currently feeling scared because I don't know what to expect and I don't want to get hurt anymore. I am tired of getting hurt. I have only been seeing my current therapist for about 1 1/2 months. She is still getting to know me, as are my parts getting to know her. There is a lot of uncertainity and fear of getting called crazy and a liar because I have had those past experiences. I hope to get to know y'all some more. I understand I have to post at least 5 times before I can talk with anyone so I will keep posting and letting you know how I am doing. Thank you for welcoming into your group. Pooh Bear |

Hi there, Poohbear, glad you found your way here. You are welcome and there are some really great people here. We ALL relate to being called things like crazy or liar. It sure does hurt!!!! oh well, keep posting and you will get to know some folks here soon. There's lots of good posts already up you can read from.

Welcome! I've just been here a short time too and these people are so darned nice, you just wouldn't believe it! There is lots to read that is helpful too.Thanks to PC and the people who post I have a greater sense of the positive side of things. I know, that by posting here, with something I am concerned about, I will be encouraged! Trust is still building which is natural. Anyway, a friendly warm welcome to you. My T is kind of easing out so I am getting used to someone else too. It can be a little unnerving but she is really nice.

I'm sorry it feels like you have to talk a lot before you get anyone to pay attention to you. We are NOT too busy to talk to you at all, but sometimes we forget we were once new here too, and get busy with our own problems and forget to make the new people welcome and feel accepted. Please forgive us if we seem aloof. That isn't what we want to portray at all. I hope that you will please forgive us and allow us to make you part of our family as we have with the others.
