I have had depression for 50 years, many different meds and years of therapy. Finally decided to try again saw a pdoc and started lamictal to add onto the welbutrin and clonazapam I've been on for 3 yrs within 2 weeks I could tell a difference . I am 55 yrs old and have depression since a young child, I have been only mildly depressed for 6 months now. I am a different person and everything seems so much better. I am truly alive for the first time in my life. I think this saved me from a life of misery. Keep trying you never know what will work for you. Hope it doesnt take 50 yrs to find your right combination good luck

Hi I'm new. Going thru another depression with the worst insomnia I've ever had.
4 months of it. I have an apointment end of the month with Psychiatrist, finaly!
I'm so exhausted all the time, feel like this is ruining my life. First time I've lost my sense of humor.
My gut tells me to switch to Lexapro and Adavan, know it's going to take some time.
Alot of trauma in the last year
Thanks for the words of hope!

y me, thanks for posting that. I'm in the same boat with with Fizzyo. It's a constant struggle to not give in. Reading of experiences like yours is one of the things that keeps me going.

I often feel certain that this will never improve. It's possible that's the case, but far from certain, as your experience demonstrates.
