The sun came out today, I felt ok for a while and even enjoyed something.
Possible trigger:
I had better go and 'enjoy' the rest of this day while I still have it. Thank you all

Oh Fizzy!!! I'm so happy for you. Enjoy it and don't get a sunburn!!!!! It feels so good to get out of the pit. I'm jealous.

Good weather forecast until early May - two weeks of warmth and sun, but hey, this is Britain anything could happen after that. Seize the day(s).

Yeah! I'm also experiencing a lift in mood that came out of no where. It's a nice change. I hope yours lasts!

I had a similar experience yesterday afternoon. After a half day of procrastinating I dragged myself outside to mow the lawn. Cheap old mower, feels like it's going to fall apart Any Minute Now. Every so often a part falls off or a flimsy metal bit fails, but the paint-shaker engine just won't quit, so...

Cold starts are a breeze; it often starts on the first pull. But it's a gas hog and can't get through the whole yard on one tank. Restarting the thing after topping off is always this major ordeal, yank yank yank ad nauseum. Sometimes it won't start, period. It just sits there smirking. I stomp back into the house and wait for it to cool, fantasizing all the while about fixing it permanently with the sledgehammer.

Yesterday it restarted ON THE FIRST PULL. Clouds parted, a beam of light shone down, angels sang. Some sort of Briggs and Stratton miracle is what it was. Silliest little thing, but it made my whole afternoon.

Now I got Tomorrow stuck in my head. xD

“The sun will come out, tomorrow,
betcha bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun.
When I'm stuck with a day, that's grey, and lonely,
I just stick up my chin, and grin, and say,
Ohhh.
The sun will come out, tomorrow,
Chase away the cobwebs and sorrow.
Come what may.
Tomorrow,
Tomorrow,
I love ya, tomorrow,
you're always a day away.
Tomorrow,
Tomorrow,
I love ya,
Tomorrow,
You're only a day,
Away....
