(Disclosure: horrible typist here, so apologies for any typos, etc!)

Nowhere - it's possible you could be in perimenonpause. It has many symptoms and depression can be one. Suggest getting your hormones checked. Unfortunately, many docs are not so great in this arena (even endocrinologists) so take it upon yourself to find someone good. Could be thyroid - same thing, you have to find a professional that has a reputation for really knowing their stuff.

Scotsmen - have you explored the thyroid route for your depression? And/or diet?

I know that you have tried many meds, however they are coming up with new ones all the time. Maybe you could try some of the new ones. Otherwise, I don't have a lot to offer in the way of suggestions but wanted you to know that someone can relate.

I know this is an old thread, but it just seemed so "me". I've been in that bubble for over 3 years! I'm 57 and see no future. The odd thing is that I know it's a fine line between sanity and insanity - I'm just stuck on the wrong side of the line...
