I would love to try it since my anhedonia is not responsive to medications, but my pdoc would NEVER go for it.

How come? I'm not sure if its FDA approved yet. Also it is pretty pricey. One treatment at a clinic in LA was like $750. I don't think the insurance covers it yet, but I did hear a bunch of people at the support group I go to talking about it and looking into it.

I have to admit, less systems for a week or two sounds really tempting. __________________ MDD with Psychotic Features, Dysthymia, GAD, Cluster C personality traits - Not taking any meds

It might be something I'd talk to my doctor about b/c the regular meds, if they work at all, are only useful for a short time.

When I was in the midst of my last depression, I would have done so in a minute! Wonder what genius finally thought that giving a Euphoria drug lift you out of depression? Herion addicts have known this for a long time. Ketamine seems to not have the addiction worry because of just one dose.
