My general attitude lately has been, "tell me I'm good enough". Good enough to deserve the things I already have, good enough to make up for the things I've done or the person I've been. How will I know when I've reached 'good enough'? Will there be a trumpeting from the heavens, some great sign proclaiming "You Did It!"? No. Likely not. Will I even know? Will it just be a subconscious shift into contentedness? Why do I feel this way?

Happiness and fulfillment are a process, like climbing stairs and seeing what's on each new floor. It's not like finding a really good quality ice cream, enjoying one bowl, and you don't have to eat again.

I am not enough and yet also too much.
