I've been depressed literally for decades. I've tried everything--years of therapy with too many therapists to count, numerous hospitalizations, and pretty much every mood-med on the market--and nothing has ever helped. Well, one did--Prozac. It was wonderful for awhile--my depression pretty much evaporated within (literally) less than a week, I started losing weight--which I needed to do--without even trying, I even rediscovered a sense of humor I had totally forgotten. I was ecstatic.
Then, just as suddenly, the music stopped. The magic was gone. I went in tears to my then-psychiatrist, asking "What did I do wrong???" ![]() ![]() ![]() I finally said "To hell with this. I'm done with therapy and I'm done with meds." I mean--why bother when nothing makes any difference? I have freaking had enough of this!!! ![]()

Is is working for you? I'm in the same state you were in and I'm wondering if I would be better just to get off all the drugs. All of them stop working after a while anyway. Let us know how it goes.
