My pdoc that did my Ketamine infusions told me something no other pdoc told me. There may be a gene mutation that exacerbates depression, that doesn't allow for your body to react to psyche meds. I had the test done (she simply swabbed my cheek and sent it in the mail) and the results were that I do have that genetic mutation. She prescribed l-methylfolate and I'm waiting to see a change. Just wanted to throw that out there. More info:
https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog...hysical-health The test can also show which medications you can metabolize and which you can't so you can show your pdoc which meds won't work. It will save time not having to guess and wait months to see results. Last edited by Have Faith; Jul 26, 2017 at 11:06 PM.. Reason: Add additional info |
