I am 62 and have been wondering about ECT also. It's so discouraging when nothing else works.

I am also 62 and wondering about ECT. My meds pooped out after four years, but my doc just prescribed Rexulti. Hope it pulls me out of this depression! I would prefer not to do ECT, but if that’s what it takes, I will willingly do it.

I am 60 and do ECT every 2 weeks for the past 3yrs, it is the only thing that helps my suicidal thoughts. It is really a Godsend.
