Well here it is, the 26th of June, and not a thing has changed in my household. I do want to say, as far as Adarall. my Pdoc, put me on it for in the mornings, bc I have a very hard time doing anything in the mornings. But it has helped in that way. It hasn't helped my depression, just helping me be a bit more active in the mornings. Before I was started on it, I wasn't able to get motivated until the early afternoons, now I am able to get it together better. As far as the rest of my problems, for those that are keeping up with my life, so far nothing has changed. My H has been a bit better, but he still disappears to his shop, or what ever, all the time. He especially disappears when his mom gets up out of bed, and now that she totaled the 5 tho. HHR we bought her 2 years ago, dealing with her is even worse bc now if she needs something I have to take her in my car. I do have the # for the local van, so from now on if she has a apt. I will call them to take her. She likes to run the roads every day, and I am not going to do that. Before she hit that other woman, and her 8 year old son, she would drive that car every day, and put over 50 tho. miles on it in less than 2 years. She is the most difficult person I have ever met, and won't do anything to help herself. All she will eat is sweets, she won't take any meds that might help her, except her sleeping med, and her anxiety med. She has had a prolapsed bladder for at least 15 years. She complaines about everything, every day, and I am so tired oh her bring my whole household down. Like I said no changes here!!!!!!!

I would be super careful about taking Adderall for the purpose you describe. I say that because I am completely dependent on it to get up every day and it sucks. When I have tried to go off of it, it's been so hellish I've contemplated suicide.

I take Adderall for the same reason. It does help some with the focus and energy level in the mornings because mornings are especially hard for me as well. I would just be cautious with it because I tried taking higher doses but had to decrease because it started to cause heart racing. Doesn’t help my depressed mood either just the symptoms I mentioned related to the depression. So sorry your having relationship problems with family. That’s so hard when you’re already dealing with your own health issues. Do you have a good therapist? Or some sort of support person? I know easier said than done but I’d just say do your best to not take on her stuff as your own. Hugs to you. Wishing you well.

I will, I promise. I am only on 10 mg in the am, and my Pdoc. is very good. When the time comes, he won't just stop it, he won't just stop it, he will taper me down. Thank you!!!!!!!
