My doctor decided to put me on a low dose of lithium added to my antidepressants as he said it sometimes helps treatment resistant depression. After 20 days I started to feel better. He just upped my dose and so far so good.
Thought you all might be interested. |

That's great! I was on lithium a while ago. The only thing I want to mention is that if you have people with hypothyroidism in your family, make sure you get your thyroid checked while on lithium. It can sometimes act as a trigger for autoimmune thyroiditis - happened to me. And that's especially important because hypothyroidism can make you depressed.
