This afternoon I had my eyebrows waxed. As the lady was waxing my eyebrows she asked me what year did I graduate from high school and I told her the year...and she said omg I thought you were about 20 years old! I'm 33 years old! Not to flatter myself but I have been told many times that I appear to be 20-25 years old. I don't know maybe ppl are blowing smoke up my bum!

I guess it depends....I'm 21 and I've been told I look anywhere from 17-25. Usually people that only see me think I'm 17 or 18 but people that know me a little think I'm about 24. I guess they expect 21 year old college girls to act like idiots and I don't so they assume I'm older lol

ick...I'm 34. I don't get carded anymore ~wipes away tear~ and I think I look my age, or older depends. I defin feel older most days. Kids, home, hubby & school oh and parents, sisters & friends have a way of wearing me down. LOL I don't care anymore tho. As long as i am not falling apart I'm all good. ~knock on wood~ So far so good with that.

I'm 21 and have been IDed for a 15 film recently. I am always IDed for alcohol (age here is 18 for that). People normally say I look 18-19, but people in shops like to make themselves feel like they are justified in asking for ID by saying I look about 14. I don't mind giving over ID, it's just the comments and looks they give with it. I hate the 'oh you'll be grateful of it when you're 40' line. That's stupid.

I'm 23 yrs old. People tend to think I'm between 18 and 25. Not a big difference either way.

Maybe I've just heard it too many times, but I sorta think I've not really aged yet, more just grown into an adult, so it's not yet clear what toll the aging process will have.

I don't know if that'll make sense to anyone else!

I'm 36, I look around in my late 20's. I don't get carded anymore either.
My mom is almost 60 and she looks late 40's early 50's. As a teen they used to think my mom was my sister. And actually my grandmother would confuse my mom and me because we had the same hair style as well at the time.

I'm 20 and I rarely get people thinking I'm my age by appearance. I don't think that being small helps. It's annoying really, I still get ID'd sometimes (legal drinking age being 18). BUT... I always say to someone when they comment on m age that I'll be thankful of it when I'm that bit older.

I'm 37 and I still get carded once in awhile for my cigarettes. I am quitting though so won't have to deal with that. When I was in school a few years ago I actually had to show one of my instructors my drivers license because she didn't believe I was as old as I am.

Hi All,

I'm 39 but am always getting confused looks when I say I have a teenager because folks around here think I'm in my 20's. Its nice for the most part but sometimes I do feel there is a bit of a catty attitude from some ladies who are pushing 30 and look older than I do.

Funnily enough I had one (slightly drunk) woman at the pub call me a liar and said I was trying to make her look bad.

I blame my mom, she looks amazing for her age. She looks about 39ish! Its all in the genes. My daughter hates going shopping with me because everyone assumes we're sisters.

((((((cantstopcrying)))
I feel tired, worn out & weary from life, too

Here's to hoping we find the youth well to drink from, a well that would help us heal emotionally too not just physically
