Have you heard of this? It's different then endometreosis but still as painful. This is what I was diagnosed with. It's not scar tissue like endo, it's the uterus growing together. I have a procedure done about 1 1/2yrs ago where they burn the unterine lining out with hot liquid so that it's not suposed to grow back as thick therefor periods aren't suposed to be as bad....so far so good but I am wondering if anyone else has dealt with it??? Had 'female' issues since I was 18 so seems there's always something going on down there...grrr
This is the type of surgery I had in Nov, http://www.gynalternatives.com/ablation.htm

I just had an attempt at novasure, a similar procedure where they burn the lining of the uterus away so that you will no longer have a period. I have been suffering from extreme pain on and off since I was 11. Unfortunately the doc accidently punctured the uternine wall so I will now be having a hystorectomy done on the 17th. Im nervous and anxious about having this done, but I am so ready to be done with the pain of periods. Im 44 so Im done having kids.
