Oh God...this is really embarrassing...
I noticed some small, hard sores on the upper part of the inside of my vagina. They are small and pretty much clear, and twinge a bit when they are touched. Does anybody know what this is? __________________ There is poetry in despair.

It's definitely not a cyst. It's like a lot of little raised bumps, and they're all sort of in a group.

Those could be some sort of heat rash - I used to get those bumps on my chest if I was wearing a tight shirt. I'd suggest wearing cotton underwear to let that area breathe a bit. But if it's not better within a week or so, you should probably have the doctor check it out.

Could be warts ? I would pop to the Drs just to let them check it out.

I think drs will but you still have to give your insurance card and your parents could find out that way. There should be a planned parenthood or free clinic around you if your in the US. I will say I have something that sounds like what yours is and I went to the dr and she said it was internal pinples. I would still say go to the dr and get checked though esp. if your sexualy active.

cant say cause Im not your gynocologist and havent looked up there but it could be something as simple as it being your normal secretions that are dried out and sticking way up inside because of certain times during the cycle the vagina becomes very dry, or very dry normal secretions stuck up there from dehydration, it could be left over stuff from your last play date with your significant other, or it could be an allegic reaction to lotions soaps, laundry detergents, wearing the same under garment more than once, or if you use any "toys or objects" some bacteria could have stayed up there. could be the last play date got a bit too rough for the insides, gosh it could be almost anything. the only way to know for sure when it comes to internal problems like this is to see your gynocologist or your physician for an exam.

how scary this must be for you... is there a clinic you can go to like rmdtc? your privacy would be honored...check in the phone book under community services and call for guidance. if there isn't one, then take a deep breath and make the appt with your GP. as much as you hate the thought of doing it, it's got to be done...if it is positive you are going to need treatment. not seeking treatment can make you more miserable and have greater affects . you physician should honor your privacy, also. it's far better to find out then to be worried every day. now that I've said all that...it's also possible that it is not herpes. any number of things can be the cause of your symptoms, most of them benign although slightly embarrassing. about the reading you mentioned? it does have it's place in giving information, but please remember sometimes that info isn't always clear/concise/accurate. many times we do ourselves a mis-service by putting ourselves through fear and worry because we read something we think applies to us. **I've done it myself** btw, do you now, or in the last few weeks, had any accompanying symptoms? fever-pain-itching? yeah, it's time to get checked. in spirit, I'll be with you...you don't have to go through this alone in peace, Catherine __________________ The Most Dangerous Enemy Is The One In Your Head Telling You What You Do and Don't Deserve... |

I've had a small fever off and on for a couple of weeks...nothing huge, but a fever, nonetheless. I don't know if that means anything or not. I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I can not even begin to say how scared I am about this...I've had NO sexual contact whatsoever...I hate to think that I may be infected for the rest of my life because some guy screwed up...it would be easier to swallow if it was my fault, but it's not...I didn't screw up...HE did. __________________ There is poetry in despair.

The fever could mean nothing, or it could mean something. Do they itch? If so it could be a yeast rash, heat rash, allergic reaction to soap, herpes, warts or a million different things. In any case I'd definately see your doctor to find out what's going on.
The laws vary from state to state upon your privacy issues. You should be able to get an appointment with your GP with an explaination of a "rash" and go from there. Perhaps planned parenthood can help or a woman's clinic in your area. __________________ I've been married for 24 years and have four wonderful children. |

[quote=fallenangel337;1081664] It is so comforting to know that I'm not alone in this...that I have people supporting me.
We are here for you, fallenangel...and I meant what I said about being there in spirit. I've had a small fever off and on for a couple of weeks...nothing huge, but a fever, nonetheless. I don't know if that means anything or not. Possibly not. The fever can be from any number of things... In fact, many people get "fever blisters" or "cold sores" that don't always appear around the mouth. In all honesty, it's not that common but it does happen... I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I can not even begin to say how scared I am about this...I've had NO sexual contact whatsoever... omgoodness you are definitely not beating any dead horses. If I were in your place I would be scared poopless. And very, very angry. I hate to think that I may be infected for the rest of my life because some guy screwed up...it would be easier to swallow if it was my fault, but it's not...I didn't screw up...HE did. fallenangel, you have every right to be fighting mad with him... If you ever get the chance, tell him...jmo If he forced you, the law equals that to r*pe. I don't know the circumstances, and it's really none of my business...but please do everything you can to take care of You. You are an important and worthwhile person who deserves to be shown respect and courtesy. Don't settle for anything less. I will keep you in my thoughts for strength and trust and courage to move into your heart and stay awhile... There is a difference between a yeast infection and a yeast rash. A yeast rash has small, red, raised bumps. A yeast infection is a completely different animal.

I'm calmer than yesterday. This is bad, but I'm trying to fake sick so I can see my GP without question. It's hard though, because my mom is a nurse, so I NEVER see my GP unless I'm really bad... I'm trying to convince her to let me go...If not soon, I'm just going to make an appointment and deal with her later if she finds out.
