My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a few months now, but this is the first month that I am so early with my menstrual cycle..... about 9 days early! We were counting the days, doing the basal temp (my temp never changed since the 13th) and trying to be pro-active in getting pregnant.

I had my "period" on the 13th of last month and I just started again on the 4th. Normally I have a 27 -28 day cycle.

I don't know if it's something I should worry about or not. I have never been this off on my cycle, except the first month I stopped taking the birth control pill.

Any thoughts or helpful sites would be great!

onlymedid, stress can throw your cycle off. You said you and hubby are trying for a baby? Maybe you're stressing coz it's been a few months?

Hmmm....yeah, I guess we have been a bit stressed out.

I didn't know that a week was not too bad. OK, I won't worry, then.

Thanks!!

transient small changes in your cycle can happen for all sorts of reasons. Its not a big deal most of the time. Its when its perpetual that it can cause problems,

Are you tracking cervical moucus or anything like that? Basal temp?
Thanks for this!

That's what I was thinking too.... try to relax and have sex more often between the second & third week after your periods has stopped - you are most fertile during this time.

Yes, well...we have just started that about 2 weeks ago. So, it hasn't been completely and utterly as serious as it should have been. We were "trying", but there was a lot I didn't know to do. But, yes....we are tracking everything now.
