Anyone else do it?
I love being clean and smooth. I don't have a boyfriend or anything so I just do it for my own enjoyment. I hate pubic hair. I take off as much hair as I can. It's actually not that painful for me. Maybe I am some kind of freak. LOL I use the hard wax that doesn't require strips. It is clean and easy. I just need a mirror. I love that I am saving tons of money doing it myself. I wouldn't be able to get it done professionally anyways because I am shy. I love being smooth! __________________ |

Hard wax is the wax that doesn't require cloth strips. The wax itself is the strip. You microwave the wax until it becomes a gooey liquid. You spread the wax on your skin, wait for it to cool and harden and then you pull the strip of wax off. It's easy and way less messy than using strips. I use Nair Divine.
When I am done, the area feels as smooth as a baby's butt. __________________ |

But I do shave my bikini area. __________________ Dx: PTSD, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Personality Disorder. A Do Da Quantkeeah A-da-nv-do |

How often do you wax?
Doesn't it feel uncomfortable when the hair starts growing? Don't you have to wait for the hair to grow to a certain length again before waxing? __________________ I am not what has happened to me. I am what I choose to become. - C.Jung |

This is also my concern. I don't like the hair either, but I'd be more afraid of ingrown hairs when it begins to grow back. Ouch!

I don't wax very often. I get lazy and things get pretty bushy before I decide to wax again. I'd say I wax about 3 times a year.
I shave sometimes, but I hate how the stubble comes in. It itches and when I shave the stubble it gives me tons of cuts. Waxing leaves my skin smooth for weeks and the hair comes in slowly and not all at once. The hair that comes out is tapered and isn't stubbly or prickly. The hair is uncomfortable when it comes in after shaving, but not after waxing. Yes, the hair has to grow out a certain length before I wax it again. I'm OK with that. I don't need to be smooth all the time. I used to pluck my pubic hair with tweezers, but it is a very time consuming task. Waxing is much much more efficient! I don't seem to have a problem with in grown hairs. The hair grows out OK. __________________ |

LOL Bebop!
I think my skin down there is not as sensitive as it is for other people. Plucking doesn't really hurt me. Plucking my eyebrows is much more painful for me. For eyebrows I get them waxed professionally and I feel it is more painful than waxing my pubic hair. __________________ |

You've got me curious! This makes me want to get waxed. LOL. I'm glad you like to pamper yourself. I like to pamper myself with special makeup and fragrant treatments for my hair. My latest favorite is a conditioner that leaves my hair ultra shiny and soft. Incredible feeling! __________________ I am not what has happened to me. I am what I choose to become. - C.Jung |

i shaved a lot when i was younger. but I would alternate from shave to wax. It was easier to stay clean and all. back in the middle eastern country its part of their tradition. when i was there I learned that something do have there advantages lol

I've used duct tape down there... lol Stick it and rip it. Nair sucked, breaks the hair in half and I was left with stubble. I usually just shave it though..men razors work better than the female ones. |
