it still hurts. I don't understand why.
I am close to 40 years old. I even have kids.
I've already had period this month.
I've noticed some blood. I know this is not normal..
Feels like I became a virgin or something...
I've already seen gy and he said everything is fine with me.
I'll be seeing another doctor for this problem but do anyone have problems with dealing with pains during intercourse?

I don't get it......

A tilted uterus (which happens with age) can cause pain during intercourse -
A prolapsed bladder (slight or severe) can create pain during intercourse -
Inner irritation of the mans sperm on your vaginal walls can cause pain -

A change in sexual position maybe be needed as the older body changes -

Rhapsody stole the words from me!

Tilted uterus is very common, particularly if it's tilted backward. Gyno's have told me that approximately 25% of women have tilted uterus.

Prolapsed bladder can cause a lot of pain as well, as it presses onto the uterine walls.

Another possibility is not enough lubrication. Lots of men want to make love before our bodies are ready and lubricated well. That causes a lot of scraping and bruising. So the pain will last a couple of days. KY Jelly works great by providing gentle lubrication (gentle= low chance of skin irritation)!

Changing positions can help greatly (with you on top, or side to side) as well. If pain is really intense, see a doctor. There may be something physical, or psychological, in the way of your enjoyment.

sounds like you might not have enough lube happening between you. Also if there is no foreplay there is probably no natural lubrication. Try a few different styles like
Girl on top
Doggy style

I am glad I stopped by this thread and it has become an issue in my life. I am nearly 49 and I absolutely abhor sex now, as is so incredibly painful to me, there is negative zero pleasure in it, no matter how much lube I use. I am in peri now, complete with nite sweats, heavy monthly cramping.......
I am lucky in the aspect that I am in a long distance relationship, so I do not have to deal with it very much anymore. Shame too, as I have memories of 15 years ago and before enjoying it most of the time. Maybe I have a tilted uterus, but I have no health insurance or eligibility for medicaid, so there is no way for me to confirm this.
Sex is such a big part of a relationship for many people that I do hope you can find something to help you out.
Best wishes !

Just thought i would add that a tilted uterus can happen at any age.
When pregnant at age 23 yrs i was found to have what they call a Retroverted Uterus which i think is like tilted uterus.
And i Hate Sex its painful.ive only had conseual sex twice and it was horrible.
I feel like im weird cause sex really doesnt appeal to me and because of that(and other things) im scared to have a relationship

Oh and im only 26yrs old right now

Hmm...Don't think I've ever heard of the tilted uterus problem before, Very interesting. If it isn't a medical problem though, I agree with crystalrose. I would recommend KY Sensual Silk...

Princess Butterfly, I'm in that boat with ya! Doesn't really appeal to me either for many reasons. I don't want a relationship either. I'm 24 years old and haven't dated since high school, So you aren't alone!
