This thread makes me cringe, and I'm not entirely sure why...
I don't even know what size I am. I'm definitely an A-something though. I never check the stupid letter tags; I just buy the smallest bras I can find or ones that look like they would fit. :/ I'm small enough to wear bras for kids/teens, and I've been told I look like a 15 year old. Meh, I've also been told I look like a gay male. But actually, none of this bothers me at all. I freaking hate my breasts, but not because I perceive them as small, because they get the freak in my way too much. I seriously wish I could get them surgically removed. They're just.. useless. There is no point at all for me to have them. I still remember when I first started to grow..(is ending sentence here). It hurt to lay flat on my stomach in the bathtub while the water filled up. I didn't understand why at the time. It had never hurt before... Stupid boobs. Only a pedophile could ever like my body. But having a flat chest and broad shoulders does have its perks though. I have a naturally deep voice, and I can imitate male body language pretty well.... Tehe......... I think I'll just cut myself off now and not say anything illegal, um. |

I have suffered from eating disorders for most of my life. When I have been really skinny, I had no boobs at all. I mean none. Now, I am doing better with the ED, and am a supposedly healthy weight. I am not very comfortable with my body, but I am thrilled to have some boobs!! So when that part of my head starts berating me for being too fat, I'll talk back to it and say 'well at least now I have breasts!'
I don't know what my bra size is because I never wear one. (I would guess I am a B cup?) When I was very thin and flat chested I never needed a bra. Now I probably "should" wear one, but I am not used to them and find them very uncomfortable. So, I still go without. If I feel I am too exposed in some of my clothing, I just wear a tank top underneath. Much more comfortable. |

I'm a DD now, which I'm happy with since I ballooned to a 38-H (yeah, got ya beat Nuck ) when nursing and they never really settled back down till I lost a ton of weight, 80lb. But I was in an H for over 7 years, I think anything smaller than what I have now would look awkward on my body (to me, at least - my husband would be in heaven if I was down to a C, or even LESS!!!)
Word of advice on getting sized - yes it's crucial but DON'T go to Victoria's Secret!! They will purposely under-size you just to make sure "oh yeah you'll fit into our bras!" Go to a reputable department store such as Macy's or Nordstrom where they TRAIN bra-fitters to PROPERLY size a woman, and where they aren't afraid to say "I'm sorry we don't carry your size here, but there's a specialty shop at this address that can help you" And you can TOTALLY get cute bras in the really large sizes, you just have to be willing to pay for them. I LOVE Fantasie bras but they're upwards of $70 each __________________ Faith Love Ketones |

Okay so, like, I THINK, my boobies might be getting a bit bigger. Not overly bigger, it could just be in my head because once my cousin and I were making a big deal about it earlier this year (there's always been a bit of a joke with some people in our family about the fact her, her mother and her sister have always been smaller, and mine are a bit bigger). I got a better bra a few months ago and the size was bigger than I thought, even though it may not be correct.
Well the other reason I feel as though they might be getting bigger is because I have a lot of old stretch marks, but I've just noticed one very small new one. Anyone who has them knows what new ones and old ones look like, they are a completely different colour to each other. Also, I measured I could get one entire hand over them, now they feel slightly more than that. But from the side, they don't look any bigger. I don't know if perhaps it's my wishful thinking (minus MORE stretch marks), or perhaps they are a bit bigger and they just don't look any bigger side on because they are a little low (my mother never really bought me a bra so I was always wearing crop tops, or the same one bra for a year straight). I did see somewhere recently that it isn't uncommon for them to suddenly grow a little bigger in you early 20's. Thoughts? |

Evening,
I do know that in my twenties mine did grow. In High School I was a 34 DD. I just left my 20s and I'm now a size 34 H! Yup and H! I have 3 bras - all 3 have been sewn back together b/c the underwire has started to poke out at me. But when each bra is $50-80, depending if I can find a sale. And I have to order them online. I have a bra for work, a bra for anything not work, and my back up old lady bra (that is on its last legs.) I wish I was smaller to have a few more bras. Oh and finding swimsuits that fit is another b**ch |

This is a true story:
My mother know's I'm not interested in having children and she desperately wants grandchildren. So one day while engaging in this old argument she says "If you have kids your breasts will get bigger." I said "Mom I'm not going to have kids so I can have big boobs." Then she kept going on about it. I said "Look if I really want big boobs it will be cheaper to get implants." Could you imagine having a child to increase your breast size? I'd love to see someone answer the child's question when they ask why you had them. "Well, you see honey, mommy was a little flat chested..." |

I did find Le Mystere bras in my size on Ebay (brand new with tags) for about $35.00 each. I actually bought about 10 bras in different brands that I knew fit me (Fantasie, Chantilly, etc.) I was very happy with each purchase. You might want to have a little looksee! Laurie |

About two years ago in highschool, I was a 34 B and I was really self conscious because that was small to me ( my family is known to be big chested, and to develop early) I am 5'11 and i was a size 1-5 during this time. I always compared my chest size to my sisters, and cousins and I hated it. Then my bf came along and he loved them he really helped me, but then I started getting stretch marks on them after I moved in with him i gained a lot of weight and now I am a size 15 , and it killed me when I was trying on jeans because my old pair had holes everywhere. Now my boobs are a 38 d and getting bigger. I still think they are small and don't think they'll ever look big to me . I was teased when I was younger by my family because of the small size. My bf thinks theyre big but he had a friend who had GIGANTIC boobs and they messed around. Now I compare mines to hers and *sigh* i'll neverr be happy with my body and stretch marks

Im a 10 DD which in american sizing is... a 32 DD and it does suck sometimes! I havnt always had them though, i was a B until i was 16 then just popped out!
I will admit though, i hardly wear a bra because i (thankfully) am not sagging. Yet. Hahahah __________________ Sometimes life's so much cooler when you just don't know any better and all the painful lessons have not hammered your head open yet. Anthony Kiedis |

Wow, I have a friend like that addi, she's real thin and is big chested- I'm 4'11 pretty thin (size 3ish and I'm a 32 C, so I guess I don't have as bad, but I'm so short! I feel like I'm just gonna topple over sometimes lol.

Gosh, finding this thread has been a real pick me up Being bigger chested runs in my family. I was wearing a D in middle school (ugh!) Had a breast reduction in high school because of the back pain and headaches. Talk about feeling like a new person! Went from a 36H back to a 36D in a matter of days. I've put on weight, and am back to a 38DDD. And HATE shopping for bras. They still cost too much. And because of the surgery, the underwires with the shaped cup are about the only type that fit right. But I love the bras from Lane Bryant. I'm about ready to get one of the t-shirts that say "I'm up here". It's amazing when a man actually keeps eye contact during a conversation!
I just tell myself, "If they don't like em, they don't have to look." |
