My period happened 20 days after when I thought it would. It's been light. And I've had some hair loss, so what's going on? What should I do?

Make a doctor apt first... they will take some blood to see if your hormones are out of balance (which often happens with females) and they will do a pregnancy test.

BTW - I am 15 days late and I am not worried as I have already seen my doctor and we know what the issues are.... at age 42 its premenopause for me.

I'm 21 and had a simmilar problem 3 years ago and it turn out to just be a hormone inbalance and i changed to a different pill. This can happen and is nothing to worry about. But if you are not sexually active, that's the most likely thing but it's best to get checked out just in case and also so you can manage the hormone imbalance if that is the problem. Good luck! x

I would have the doctor check to see if it is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Just google it and you can read about it but make sure to have your doctor check you for it (just takes a blood test) good luck!

Being under weight can also be the root of the problem for younger females when their cycles are not regular... my niece, when she was around seventeen years old and not sexually active, had to put on fifteen pounds when her cycle wasn't regular and her period was only taking place once every three months... now three years later she is doing fine - and her doctor said females need a certain amount of body fat to have regular cycles.

Making a doctor apt is the only way to go here... ((( hugs )))
