For the past two years, I have had a cycle maybe twice a year. I thought I was starting to go through menopause. I admit that I am overweight. I have been since high school. At the beginning of this year, my doctor really got on my case about my weight and the health problems it was causing (high blood pressure) . I lost almost thirty pounds in three months. I am still losing because I can feel the difference. Anyway, since I started losing weight, I am having a monthly cycle again. I have had three in a row and less painful than the cycles I was having just twice year. I just thought I would share this information.

Congrats on the weight loss. Send me some of that motivation. ;-)
I had been on birth control for 9 years and last September I stopped taking it, which really helped with the depression. When I was on BC I never had a period.....now I'm back on a monthly cycle and I feel better. |
