hey wanted to ask if any one has had problems with missed menstral cycles? Not due to pregnancy.
Im on effexor (have been for two years) and diabex.
Im over weight. Not particularly stressed. I havent had a period in about 8-12 weeks (not too sure) my usuall cycle was anywhere from 28-40 days but always came.
Any thoughts??

When I was much heavier I could miss mine for 3-4 months or more. Then I found out I had Poly Cystic Ovaries and told I'd never conceive naturally - which is a load of crap.

It is good to get checked, firstly, as there can be several things that can affect our cycles. Depends on if this is your only symptom or if there are other symptoms that accompany it. Please consider going in to get checked.

There are lots of reasons why your period may be messed up, many medical issues can cause it...not sure if the meds you are on can cause it. Being heavy can cause it...im heavy and I have issues with mine...your age you didnt mention but im 38 and going through pre menopause and it can cause it....stress....just because....if you are concerned you can ask your doc to check you out...

By all means

I have two kids born two years apart. All it took was losing 5kgs and a natural remedy to help "normalise" my cycle.

I went 13 months without my period and then it reappeared a few days ago. I am not underweight but think that my lack of nutrients played a role in it as all medical tests came back negative.

My friend of mine birthed her number 7 at home in 5 hrs and he was 12 lb 2oz. He honestly looked 3 months old in his first photo.
