I was wondering if people have suggestions for good electric razors. Since I can't see without my glasses (and that makes shaving hard), I am thinking of investing in an electric razor. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
Thanks.

I don't know about electric razors, but I use a depilatory cream like Nair or Neet with good results.
Thanks for this!

I too use depillatory creams. They work well, and I find they last longer than shaving. I just wish the weren't so messy.

I don't know about electric either, but I like anything made by Venus. Be careful with depilatories if you've got sensitive skin - they can cause a rash if left on for too long.

I have never had any luck with Nair or Veet.

There are some reviews for the best ones. I have one that is a razor and has a trimmer on the other side and it's good but I don't think they make it anymore. I think it's a Schick?

I haven't tried electric razors, but I wear contacts - I can wear those into the shower. But when I forget sometimes I turn off the water while I shave and wear glasses in if necessary. I haven't done that much since I've switched to contacts but it helps.

you can get it cheaper on other sites, but this is the best in my opinion. although with electric it doesn't give you as close a shave as blade razors but does the trick, and you can also do a dry shave. i'm actually going to get my hair removed my skin is so sensitive even when i shave i have issues and then my skin itches for weeks after.

I have never gotten a close shave with an electric razor. I wear my contacts in the shower if I need to be careful.

Thank you all for your help. I don't wear contacts, so that is not a solution for me.

I do not have any suggestions for an electric razor (I did not even know they made those for women anymore) but I have had great success with the Gillette disposable Venus razors. I have never cut myself with them or had any other of those lovely side effects.

The first time I shaved my legs I was using one of those old fashioned double sided razors. I got distracted and ended up taking a six inch strip of skin of my leg. It bleed forever. Not only did it leave an odd scar, but ever since then I would get a "nick" around that area every single time I shaved. For over 30 years I walked around with toilet paper or a bandaid on my leg every day until I found the Venus razors.

Another brand that produces a good electric razor is Braun. Hope these are helpful to you!
