In 2 years I've gone from a 36 G to a 33 E/F. Not an easy task to find a bra that fits. I happen to like the T-shirt bras b/c I don't feel like everyone can see my tits when its cold out. I agree though it would be nice if they weren't so plain.

I went bra shopping a month ago, and nearly had a break down in the store. I HAD to go though because my bras had holes in them. I ended up getting a bra that made my boobs look pointy and bigger, but I couldn't take anymore. I only wore it one day at work, and the guys couldn't keep their eyes off my rack. I went back to my holey bra, and smashed 'em with a spandex undershirt. My mom found me a decent bra afterwards. I'm gonna let my mom do my bra shopping from now on. Stupid DD. I wish my insurance covered breast reduction surgery.

I used to be a 38E. Yep, that's right, ladies an E. (that's not a typo). So I would have to special order my bras over the Internet and they were never pretty bras. So in 2001 I got a breast reduction I am a 38 C now and the first thug I bought after my reduction was a lacy blue and purple thing from Vicky Secrets. Cost me $60.
I'm now a little more practical, but I do enjoy shopping for bras a little more because when I was in high school it was such a horrible experience. __________________ When I get sad I stop being sad And start being awesome. |

It seems to be hard for those of us who fall at either end of the arbitrary "bell curve" of what retail stores will stock.
I recently got fitted at a specialty store and my cup size is HUGE! But I finally have bras that fit, and because they are not the contour (padded) kind I actually look smaller than I did--and I have separation for the first time in years! They were super-expensive but definitely worth the money to have something that fits. Because it was a specialty store, I was also able to get "pretty" bras--pink, lacy, etc.--for the first time ever. Well worth it for my self-esteem

That is wonderful to hear, skeksi!! I am the opposite of you. I have small chest but broad back. I always have to get extenders to fit the back, and that often results in the shoulders traps falling off the shoulders from time to time, so I then have to get those other little pieces that pull the straps together behind. Lots of fussing.

Ugh! This is the bane of my existence...well one anyway. Hate hate hate bra shopping. I was a 38G now a 36F and it's impossible to find any bra, let alone a pretty feminine one without spending a small fortune...
 I don't understand why Victoria Secret doesn't carry larger sizes. In my town there is only one specialty store that carries my size and they really take advantage with ridiculous pricing. Anyone know of any good websites where you can get good quality bras 36F for not a crazy price?

This is a bit off topic, but the blasted things are HOT and miserable in the summer!! All this trouble shopping for something thatst not comfortable to begin with, then holds in your body heat in the summer!
 Even those sports bras that claim to keep you dry don't work the way they are supposed to! Men walk around without their shirts in public all the time, but women cannot (unless it's a nudist colony or something, LOL)! What a double standard, LOL.

Oh the unbearable frustration, but on the opposite end of the scale for me. I am a 34DDDD. Apparently this is the most rare size in the world. It is assumed that if I am large breasted that apparently I am also large bodied. SO frustrating. And get this, when I do find a bra in my size, it usually has padding. REALLY!? I mean, for the smaller cup sized girls, I can see why you'd want that option. But I have plenty of natural padding thank you very much.

44 C here. And I wear the old fashioned Bali's that look like the old training bras we wore as kids. I hate underwear and padding. I don't get the sexy bra thing, I just want comfort. Oh and even the style I wear still a pain to find.
