My breasts become large and painful to touch the week before my period. I know that caffeine and chocolate can make it worse. But any other suggestions on how to curb this symptom? Help?

What helps the most for me is a supportive but not tight sports bra that keeps them from moving around too much, especially when I sleep. That and the don't even dare think about it glare I give my hubby.

You may want to ask you gynocologist about it next visit. My breasts were very sore and tender, just my bf touching them would send me into tears. I found out during a breast exam with my gyno that I had a tendency to develop fibrocystic cysts in my breast and it got worse before and during my period. my hormone dosage in my birth control was too high and it was setting them off.

Cutting down my caffiene and sugar intake helped A LOT, and so did switching from eating a lot of beef and red meat to a lot more lean white meat, like turkey, chicken, and fish.

Oh interesting. I actually was switched to the birth control pill that I am on now bc it has a different, low dose hormone (not sure exactly) but it works better than when I was on a different pill. I guess I just thought its something I have to live with.

That "don't even think about it look" to the husband? That's funny! And everyone knows what you mean, I am sure! Haha

That being said, I am a huge chocolate fan. So, maybe I should look into that. Ugh...cravings and soreness- we can't win! Lol
