Hi,
I'm embarassed to put this on here and I'm not even sure if this is the right section to be posting this, but it is a woman thing. I am supposed to go on the pill my mom thinks it is for acne. Although, it is not so she is going to expect me to take it tomorrow. However, I used a condomn, but I just had sex with my boyfriend (it kind of just happened please don't judge been together almost a year), when I start the pill tomorrow. Even though i used a condomn should I wait to start the pill tomorrow, what if I was pregnant? and if you think I shouldnt start taking it how do i keep from my mom that i am not taking it? The pharmacist said that I should take it the sunday after my period. A pregnancy test won't help to determine if I am pregnant because it just happened tonight. I'm kind of freaking out right now. I do need to start on them though because I am having sex. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Do you think if he as wearing a condomn that I could be pregnant?idk what to do.

If you used a condom there is very little chance you will be pregnant.

I assume you have just finished your period and are ready to start taking the pill? I would start I don't think there will be a problem.

Thanks, I guess your right, I just kind of freaked out. People when they first start taking the pill only use a condomn, the pill doesn't work then, and they are fine.Thanks again.

like Mazing said . by using a condom there is little chance of being pregnant, so definitely start the pill tomorrow.
please note that the pill is NOT a replacement for a condom, once you start the pill it takes a while for it to be fully effective at preventing pregnancy, but even then it is NO help against Sexually transmitted diseases, so eventhough you take the pill it is still recommended that you continue use a condom also. you are young and even if you are faithful to your partner you can't be so sure you are his first, last or only!

Start the pill. It helps acne and regularity. It also is 92 -98% affective. Always use a condom unless you are married and want a baby. I had 2 children while on the pill. One was a low dose and the other god only knows how and why we got our little blessing. The pill is fine and dandy but it is not an open invitation to be unsafe.
