Hey,

Due to hubby's male issues, this year we will hopefully self finance IVF with ICSI and I will be donating my eggs to. We can only really afford one cycle.

It's a terrifying journey that we are at the beginning of. It's so taboo that's its difficult to speak to anyone about it.

Is there anyone who has been through this, or who could offer any support or guidance?

Thanks
Hugs from:

My cousin did that. He got snipped 15+ years age. Then he got remarried to a younger woman. She so wanted a child. But after a bring fixed there was no way. So the dr's vent in a were able to find one live sperm in one of his seminal vessels. they retrieved it, took on of his wife's eggs, fertilized it, after a few days, since it was viable they transplanted it back into her uturus. They have the cutest 3 yr old boy. No problems whatsoever. Goodluck
Thanks for this!

A friend of mine did the same thing several years ago. Her husband has a low sperm count. She went on hormones for a few months and then had her eggs removed, two or three were injected with sperm, and then they transferred the one egg that was successful into her uterus. My friend had a few other eggs saved for later, as she knew that she wanted more than one child. A couple of years later, she had another successful egg & semen bond put back into her uterus.

Two very healthy kids are the result of their decision. No regrets! Best wishes to you and your hub!
