hi I guess this would be the rite place to post this. I have been on the pill for 5 months now. I took the break where its the white pills for my period. then sunday where i was supposed to start taking my actaul pills i fell asleep and did not take the pill until monday morning. and then monday night i fell asleep and didnt take it until tuesday morning (today) can this mess up my ovaries or anything im kind of scared.Should I just continue the taking them in the morning instead of at night? I havent been having sex, but can this mess everything up, changing it? I was taking them at night before can i get pregnant? Would this just be changing the time of day that I am taking them? or is that like missing a whole day of taking the birth control? Idk I'm really confused.Am i okay to just keep taking them? help please

Off hand, I suggest you ask your prescriber or a pharmacist. It all sounds complicated to me!

Darn it! I wrote my post and then hit a wrong button, and went to another page--for the second time tonight!

Ok, I'm going to make a shorter reply: I think you should talk to your prescriber, too, but I highly doubt there's any health issues you need to worry about. Your ovaries should be fine, so try not to worry. Your doctor might tell you to throw away the pack and start a new one at the start of your next period (or is it after? It's been a few years for me, sorry). Don't feel bad...it's easy to forget to take the Pill; just try to be better about it in the future. Maybe get a reminder sent to you, or set an alarm clock. Good luck!

I agree with Payne I would call the pharmacy and ask a pharmacist. Usually a few hours do not make much difference, but the risks of getting pregnant if you are sexually active are nothing to play around with.

I always try to take medicines that I only take once a day in the morning. I keep it all right there with my make up etc so that it is part of my morning routine of getting ready for the day

it is recommended that you take your pill every day at the same time.

that said, i have forgotten mine on occasion before, and felt no issues. there will be higher risk of pregnancy if you are sexually active, but apart from that you should be fine.

the white pills are there to help you be consistent - take them next time as that would make it easier not to forget.
