I started my period for the 3rd time in 35 days. I started really worrying about it but talking with my husband, I realized that my periods do this in Sept/Oct then again in Dec and then now in the March/April months. Could the change of seasons do this? I also have Paragaurd IUD for 10 years. My periods have always been weird. When I was 17 (Im 32 now) I bled for almost 6 months. It was really light then on the usual cycle beginning day, it would be normal. Ive been stressed out too with all of my MH issues.

Also, at least in the past, Paraguard was due for a replacement after 10 years.

And in general whenever you have it replaced, you should consider Mirena instead, because you will get lighter periods, some marginal protection from cancer, etc. The only thing that is better about Paraguard is that it can function for more years.
