I have PCOS and i was giving metformin today, is anyone taking it and lost weight? Also did it increase fertility like ovualation?

I am taking it. Not with PCOS but just to lose weight. It is not working. I have no side effects to it. I have read some people have horrible GI side effects to the point of getting sick from everything they eat, and that makes them eat less and causes weight loss.
