Thanks for bringing this up. PCOS is more common than general society seems to think & there are lots of side effects! Hopefully, your chosen treatment is working well for you.

I just found out that my mom's BFF, who has been going through some serious health issues, worried about all kinds of illnesses, ovarian cancer included, and was tested for practically everything under the sun,
Finally had some answers and a surgery and feeling better. Her ovaries were riddled with cysts. And, though, I am not certain, if this is the exact diagnosis, it's just a relief to know that she had some answers. She did need some surgery and is finally doing much better. Awareness, on illnesses, like these, that affect women, is a good thing! Thanks for sharing a bit of your story and letting us know that there is such a disorder. |
