Hi.
I had a transvaginal sonogram exam recently and she noted that I had an increased amount of blood flow then normal in my cervix. She didn't elaborate further except to say maybe it was because I was slim or the blood was maybe going to a polyp (she thought she could see one but couldn't be sure) The chance of me being pregnant is non existent as hubby and I have infertility! Have you ever been told the same and what was your answer? Thank you |

Last year, I did have blood on my cervix, during my ultra/sound(transvaginal sonogram). My tech mentioned, it could just be because I'd recently started the pill, mid cycle, at that point. Also, could have been a fibroid.
Polyps however, sound like they need to be monitored and perhaps tested. Have you seen your OBGYN, since this ultra sound? And what did they say? Cervical Polyps: Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment of Cervical Polyps Quote:
