I'd be interested to hear from anyone with experience or opinions on either of these types of tubal ligation. Efficacy, side effects, etc.

I have not had it done, but my GP promoted Essure in 2010, and back then, Essure promised 100% reliability. Now, I have checked online and they do have failures.
