First: WHYY?!?! Couldn't it have waited a week?
Okay, so I haven't seen my boyfriend since the summer and we're going to see each other on Tuesday, but since we're driving a good long ways, we won't get to "see" each other until sometime Wednesday. And my period started just now. Figures. Recently, my period has typically only lasted about five days, but we're only going to have a very short window before I have to go back to college so I need to be able to make SURE it will be over with my the end of wednesday. Preferably before. Is there anyway to do that or should I start researching goddesses of health and sex and offering them sacrifices? (JOKING) Also, while we're talking about periods, screw all this emotional hormonal bullcrap! I want to beat the daylights out of something and sob at the same time. WHY IS THIS A THING?!? __________________ Bipolar 2 (in remission), anorexia (in remission), and trichotillomania, also have conversion disorder that seems to be rearing its ugly head again. 100mg Lamictal |

Are you on the pill, and if so, which week are you in?

Not on it, but I'm going to use protection if anything happens.

I was going to say, if going into week four, starting day one, tomorrow, would solve, the period issue.

I'm with you, on the hormonal changes, that even for just a day or two, just leave pizzy thoughts and worries or thoughts or whatever it can bring, that month, depending on the time of year, situation, etc etc etc..... I'm just not, feeling like I want to remain, logical and rational and calm, for a brief moment in time....yet, I've been so well trained to curb it. GRRRRR I'll have a PMS-Fest, with you!!! Gawd, just has to ruin your time with your BF, that alone, is enough to make one very mad.... |

Completely understand the PMS thing. I was absolutely awful before I had a hysterectomy in my forties. I don't know that you can do much to control the period, but can you call and ask a doctor?
