I don't really know where to put this, sorry.
Has anyone ever taken Plan B One-Step? I took it yesterday night and have been having awful stomach cramps. I can't really ask anyone about it because I don't want to have to talk about the reason why I had to take it. I feel really alone and scared and unsure of what to do ![]() |

Google side affects or call a "dial a nurse" they are free online.

I have not taken Plan B One-step, but nausea (13.7%) and lower abdominal pain (13.3%) are common side effects. You should be fine, but if the pain persists and makes you very uncomfortable, it might be a good idea to see a counselor, healthcare professional, Planned Parenthood, etc. How did you get the pill? You could contact your source too.

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it very much. Yes, I Googled side effects but it doesn't say how long the abdominal pain is normal to last for. It's just very intense cramping. I never heard of dialing a nurse, thank you for that suggestion!
I bought it at Rite Aid. |

According to the Plan B Canada website, symptoms should subside within 24 hours (Side Effects of The Morning After Pill - Plan B Effectiveness - Plan B). The hormone should be the same as in the US, so I'd go with the guidelines in this link. |

Hugs to you....
It should get better soon. 1800 330 1271 is their own number. The problem is that pain is very subjective. What's very painful to one person, may not be to another. Some women have pain for a while and some have no pain at all. I would suppose it depends on where you are in your cycle. |

I took Plan B and it made me feel bad for the whole next day. I had the cramps, a pretty good amount of nausea and an unexplainable feeling of just like s***. I slept through the next day, it helped me not be so aware of the side effects. I'm kind of late in replying to your post but I think that if the cramps are still there by now you should be seen by a nurse/physician. Hope you are feeling better!

Do you have any of those Urgent Care centers nearby?
They are kind of like an emergency room except for the crowds. They're open on weekends and have early and extended hours during the week. Hope that info is helpful for you. ![]() |
