I'm wondering if this is normal, or if anyone can relate. Basically I can't look any men in the eye, including family, old or young, since I can remember. It makes me feel like I am seducing them (and that they feel that) by looking into their eyes even though I'm not. :/ The whole issue makes me feel so uncomfortable around any male and I don't know if everyone experiences this and I should just ignore it. Or could it be something more?

Sonrisa777, Are you a shy person? This can make it hard to make eye contact. Also it could depend on your age. If you feel this is impeding your enjoyment of life, I would seek therapy.

I have the same problem and I attribute it to the poor relationship I had with my father...fear mainly. How was your relationship with your Dad growing up...loving or fearful? I'm not sure it can be fixed, but it would be worth trying, at your age anyway...it's a bit too late for me. Big hug!
